Macrame Jewelry
Guild member since 2005
Kathleen's impressive resume includes work in roles ranging from supervisor, operations manager, site engineer, and production manager, in addition to an MBA and a master's degree in accounting. Back in 1985 when she was still known as Kathleen Terry, she became the first African-American woman from Mississippi to graduate from West Point, earning a bachelor's degree in general engineering. However, fiberwork crafting started early in her life.
Kathleen first worked with macrame as a teenager attending Grenada High School, using jute rope to make plant hangers. She started doing micro macrame to make jewelry in 2018.
