Now from award winning master call maker, Paul Meek, an innovator in the turkey making world for over 30 years, comes the Rock Pot. It’s completely different in shape and materials. The striking surface is made of rock; the pot made of several types of exotic and domestic woods. Each pot has a striker producing the best turkey sounds for that call. Each one is numbered, dated, and signed by Paul and comes with a certificate of authenticity, describing the type of wood and rock used in the call. Truly a one-of-a-kind turkey call.

Kent Allen

Enterprise, MS

Clay / Ceramics

Guild member since 1989

Kent works primarily with mid-range stoneware clay- wheel thrown, altered and hand-build additions to the basic vessel form. He uses glazes, vitreous slips, and non-fired pigments. His inspirations come from contemporary, old, and primitive art which put a spiritual aspect to his work. As far back as he can remember, he has painted, drawn, or sculpted. When he was about five, he scooped fresh cement from a road patch and quickly formed a human head. Since that time, he has gone through periods of intense work and periods of virtual hibernation. A former mental health professional and college art teacher, Kent now has more time to spend in his studio.
