Announcing the Summer Porch Party Series
There’s nothing like a summer evening on the porch with friends. Come join us on the back porch of the Waller Craft Center for music, food, and libations.
Normally, we’d be welcoming our Snappy Sync firefly friends this month, but this year, we are giving them a chance to have some quiet time to start the recovery process that only Mother Nature can provide. But there are still opportunities to gather for a fun evening on our fabulous back porch.
At our first porch party, we’ll learn about the plight of the Synchronous Fireflies that we have grown so fond of over the years, then sparks will fly when members of the Mississippi Forge Council bang some hot metal. Then Bill Ellison will entertain us with music on the patio as we enjoy Pig and Pint barbecue paired with cold beer, wine, or a Cathead lemonade cocktail.
