Six Sessions, one-day-a-week (Tuesdays) • 2 hours per session
Adults | Class registration is $200 per Participant and includes supplies.
"Throwing Pottery on the Wheel," is led by Guild Artisan Emily Elliot. She will instruct you on the basics of how to throw clay on a pottery wheel, how to finish up and trim your pieces, and glazing and surface decoration. You will be able to learn and work at your own pace! Classes will be held in the Guild's Pottery Studio at the Waller Craft Center.
Registration fee includes all supplies. Act fast as class space is limited to a minimum of 3 people, with a maximum of 5.
Due to the heat, these classes will be held in the evening. Wear something you don't mind getting dirty.
Day 1: Detailed live throwing demonstration and guided throwing time
Day 2: Guided throwing time
Day 3: Guided throwing time
Day 4: Live trimming demo and guided work time
Day 5: Glazing and surface decoration
Day 6: final work day, critique and take home work
